Bright Hush started as an oil pastel piece painted on an orange acrylic wash backdrop. I fell in love with the way the warm tones made everything glow and wanted that feeling to translate into something people could bring home. The orange border is part of the original piece and I hope it brings that same warmth to your walls

Following the printing process, each piece is re-worked and hand-embellished. By applying a fresh layer of oil pastel directly back onto the printed surface by hand, the physical, buttery texture of the original work is entirely restored.
Because every stroke is applied freehand, unique marks vary piece by piece, resulting in a truly one of a kind work that beautifully bridges the line between a traditional fine art print and an original oil pastel piece.
